Jordan Delage started his voice lessons and musical training at Cégep St-Laurent in Montreal. His first two roles were Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte) and Baron Popoff (La Veuve Joyeuse). During his years of study in voice performance at Université de Montréal (Bachelor and Master degrees), Jordan sung many bass roles such as Betto Di Signa (Gianni Schicchi), Siroco (L’Étoile), Bartolo (Le Nozze Di Figaro), and Snug (A Midsummer Night’s Dream). His voice teachers were John Fanning, Julie Daoust and Claude Grenier. In summer 2017 he sung the role of Leporello (Don Giovanni) in Lucca, Italy with the Accademia Europea Dell’Opera. He gained significant experience working with coaches like Enza Ferrari, James Vaughan (Teatro alla Scala) and Simone Luti. Jordan Delage is now part of the Opéra de Montréal chorus since 2016. His musicianship and acting is always growing. With his rich voice and low timbre, he is now ready to master both dramatic and comic roles.
