Soprano Taylor R. Reeves is excited to make her international debut at the Halifax Summer Opera Festival as Amore. Classically trained, Taylor is a current Masters candidate at Temple University studying with Dr. Lorie Gratis-Harris. Most recently playing Giulietta in I Capuleti e i Montecchi with the West Chester University Opera Theater, Taylor hails from a small town in Southern Delaware and much enjoys her new-found city life in Philadelphia, PA.

Other roles include Laetitia, The Old Maid and the Thief (Temple Opera Workshop scenes); Cunegonde, Candide (Temple Opera Workshop scenes); and Venus, Orphée aux enfers. Ms. Reeves has also worked in oratorio and choral music singing as Soprano Soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Mozart’s Requiem, and Britten’s Te Deum.
