Musical Theatre Cabaret — Saturday July 30, 7:30 pm at Menz Bar, 2182 Gottingen Street — a fabulous evening of informal musical theatre and cabaret repertoire with the talented young performers from the Halifax Summer Opera Festival. Admission $10 at the door.
A Musical Evening with William Shakespeare — Thursday August 4, 6:30 pm at the Paul O’Regan Hall at the Halifax Central Library. A tour through classical music settings of Shakespeare (art song and opera) directed by Shakespeare himself, accompanied by his fellow actor Dick Burbage. Director David Mosey, Music Director Greg Myra and participants from the 12th Annual Halifax Summer Opera Festival. FREE
LECTURE SERIES
Join us for a three part, free noon hour lecture recital series at the Paul O’Regan Hall at the Halifax Central Library on July 26, 27 and 28. More details
MASTERCLASSES
Watch four experienced performers work with six young singers over the course of two hours. All our masterclasses are open to the public. Tickets are $10 each for auditors. All masterclasses take place in Room 121 in the basement of the Dalhousie Arts Centre.
