Friday, July 26th 2019 Opera Backwards: a very queer show Halifax, NS The Bus Stop Theatre
Time: 8:00pm. Admission: $20. Address: 2203 Gottingen Street. Venue phone: 1 (888) 639 – 1169. In the tradition of “Broadway Backwards”, the annual NYC show where musical theatre numbers are given an LGBT twist, HSOF presents its fourth annual salute to Halifax Pride: “Opera Backwards”. Yeah, opera is pretty much super queer already, but you’ll be amazed at what we come up with! Come and experience gay and lesbian stories told through the great arias and duets of opera and operetta, sung by the participants in the fifteenth annual Halifax Summer Opera Festival. Tickets $20 each — the theatre is small and this event always sells out, so we do recommend buying your tickets in advance 🙂 Any extra tickets will be sold at the door. Buy Tickets Online
