Rusalka by Antonin Dvořák (1901)

Rusalka is based on the original Slavic fairy tale of Undine, the water nymph, who is doomed by her love for a human prince.

Handel’s most popular opera both in his own lifetime and today depicts the meeting of Julius Caesar, fresh from his triumphs over Pompey the Great, with the embattled Queen of Egypt, Cleopatra. Fully-staged and costumed, with Aradia and Friends Baroque orchestra on period instruments.
