Thank you, auditioners!

I want personally to thank every performer who came out to sing for us this weekend, in spite of some very challenging weather! Thanks, too, to the accompanists, including one marvellous fellow who stepped in and played for a couple of singers who had been unable to find pianists.

I’m now waiting to receive the final mailed-in audition packages, and I expect we’ll start announcing the casts within the next two weeks.

Auditions still on!

In spite of the storm currently hitting Southern Ontario, we’re going ahead with the auditions as scheduled.

I’ve just had a cancellation due to the weather — and I will make the same offer to all our Toronto auditioners that I made to this cancelling singer:  if you have to cancel your Toronto audition you may have an extension of our regular deadline for mailed-in CD applications.  We’ll accept mail in applications that are postmarked March 17 or earlier.

If you have to cancel, please email Marja (see the Contact page).  If you’re running late tonight or tomorrow, please give me a call at 902-541-7310.

Auditions in Toronto

I’m in Toronto now, and looking forward to the auditions, which start tomorrow.

Tomorrow evening’s auditions are at Bloor Street United, at 300 Bloor Street West, just east of Spadina. map here

Saturday’s auditions are at Kimbourne United Church at 200 Wolverleigh Ave., near Coxwell subway, directions here

All our Toronto audition slots are full — anyone requesting an audition from this point on will be added to a waiting list.  If you know you cannot use your audition time, please let Marja know so she can free up the slot for someone else!
